Went for a sim racing trial session today and honestly couldn’t recommend Mick highly enough. What was meant to be a short trial ended up turning into nearly 3 hours because of how welcoming, knowledgeable and passionate he is about sim racing. You can tell straight away this isn’t just a business to him – it’s a genuine passion, and that comes across in every conversation. As a complete beginner, I never once felt pressured into buying anything. Mick took the time to explain different setups, brands, wheelbases, pedals and what would actually suit my needs rather than simply trying to sell the most expensive equipment. He was incredibly patient with questions and happy to share his experience and knowledge. Most importantly, he’s just a genuinely great guy. Friendly, approachable, honest and clearly someone who loves helping people get into the hobby. The time and effort he put into making sure I understood everything went far beyond what I expected. I left with a much better understanding of sim racing, a clear path for progressing in the hobby and a huge appreciation for the sport itself. If you’re thinking about getting into sim racing, whether you’re a complete beginner or experienced racer, I’d highly recommend paying Mick a visit.
